Amazing four-piece ensemble from Yves Saint Laurent’s seminal 1976 Russian Collection. This set was purchased together by the original owner! Features long velvet vest with matching flat front trousers, rare gold lamé peasant top, and tie belt. All garments feature with most wonderful coiled gold buttons. The lamé top is made from real metal and silk, the same materiality of early 20th century lamé fabrics that are almost non-existent in later-era lamé fabric. Just one of the most special sets of clothing we’ve ever laid hands on. For the consummate collector or archivist.
