Hand-Painted Fruit Tapestry Motif 1970s Leather Jacket
Hand-Painted Fruit Tapestry Motif 1970s Leather Jacket
We’re pleased to present our latest collection of hand-painted archival vintage, as part of our ongoing series in collaboration with Philadelphia-based artist Shannon Retseck. Referencing historical decorative motifs and fashion icons of the early 70s (George Harrison, Bianca Jagger, Jimi Hendrix, Marc Bolan, Jane Birkin to name a few), we’ve reimagined some of our most treasured vintage items, giving them new life to truly spectacular effect.
This amazing perfectly patina-ed 1970s persimmon leather blazer with two button closure and oversize patch pockets has been adorned with an incredible 18th century french-tapestry inspired fruit motif featuring cherries, oranges, blue berries, luxe swathes of fabric, and a beautiful cerulean footed bowl. Fit for George Harrison or Jimi Hendrix—our STAR this season.
