We’re pleased to present our latest collection of hand-painted archival vintage pieces as part of our ongoing series. In collaboration with Philadelphia-based artist Shannon Retseck, who developed this modern, painterly take on historical decorative motifs, we’ve reimagined some of our most treasured vintage items, giving them new life to truly spectacular effect.

This lovely 1980s Bis Bis by Gene Ewing slouchy white cotton pullover has been adorned with Shannon’s newest motif, a cheeky mushroom toile de joyeux. Referencing our mutual obsession with Provençal textiles, this fresh play on the iconic fabric feels so right now.

Note: These are vintage items that have been meticulously hand-painted, with the artist considering every square-inch of the textile, as well as being professionally cleaned.
