We’re pleased to present our latest collection of hand-painted archival vintage as part of our ongoing series. In collaboration with Philadelphia-based artist Shannon Retseck, who developed this modern, painterly take on historical tile motifs, we’ve reimagined some of our most treasured vintage items, giving them new life to truly spectacular effect.

This 1980s “Thyme” creme wool-rayon suiting trousers have been hand-painted by Retseck with her signature dye-paint, which creates a smooth finish to the hand of the textile. Every detail has been considered and elevates an already beautiful, finely crafted garment to the level of fine art and a modern heirloom.

Pants feature full lining throughout, side zip closure with slash hip pockets. Lightly pleated but a very easy, minimal silhouette.
