We’re pleased to present our latest collection of hand-painted archival vintage pieces as part of our ongoing series. In collaboration with Philadelphia-based artist Shannon Retseck, who developed this modern, painterly take on historical decorative motifs, we’ve reimagined some of our most treasured vintage items, giving them new life to truly spectacular effect.

Our favorite vintage denim—mid-80s Calvin Klein sport jeans in 100% cotton denim with 5-pocket styling and straight leg silhouette—has been re-invented with a spray of our signature architectural flowers, creating a playful all-over print. Inspired by vintage cycling jerseys, Indian block print motifs, and of course our on-going romance with architectural flourishes.

Note: These are vintage items that have been meticulously hand-painted, with the artist considering every square-inch of the textile, as well as being professionally cleaned. So while they are in excellent, refurbished condition, they are not new and may feature slight “imperfections” that add to the uniqueness of the item.
