Hand-Painted Delft Motif Vintage Yves Saint Laurent Suit
We’re pleased to present our first foray into reworked vintage design, starting with an ongoing series of hand-painted archival vintage pieces. In collaboration with Philadelphia-based artist Shannon Retseck, who developed this modern, painterly take on Delft-tile motifs, we’ve reimagined some of our most treasured vintage items, giving them new life to truly spectacular effect.
This 1980s Yves Saint Laurent creme woven silk suit has been hand-painted by Retseck with her signature dye-paint, which creates a smooth finish to the hand of the textile. Every detail has been considered and elevates an already beautiful, finely crafted garment to the level of fine art and a modern heirloom.
