1970s Molyneux Paris Rich Yellow Crepe Halter Gown
Absolutely stunning and truly rare 1970s Molyneux couture yolk yellow crepe halter dress with delicate cross straps. Features back zip, full lining, bandeau bust with clever keyhole neckline and single inverted pleat from the bodice. Molyneux was a renowned British-born Parisian couturier from the 30s to the 50s. He retired in the 1950s and was convinced to revive his fashion house in the 1970s (the era of this particular piece). The construction, from the weighted hem to the gorgeous satin lining, to the unbelievably rich yellow hue of the crepe, is all true couture.
