Absolutely the most ravishing dress we’ve seen in real life—1960s Elinor Simmons for Malcolm Starr.. Exquisite and opulent hand-beading and sequins on gold lamé with rare and unusual “bezel-set” rhinestone gems throughout, full satin lining, metal back zip. This dress would make an incredible wedding dress or could be worn on the red carpet. It’s giving us true Pierpaolo Piccioli for Valentino Couture 2020 vibes—you will not find this type of embellishment in modern clothing outside of Paris couture ateliers….

This dress was purchased from the original owner who wore it once the year it was designed, ordering it from Bergdorf Goodman. It lived in its original box until now! The condition is remarkabe for its age and the delicacy of beading—it’s ready to go!
