Stunning and RARE late 1960s Marion Foale and Sally Tuffin Liberty floral cotton smock dress. Features dramatic ruffled shoulders, blouson sleeves with elasticized cuffs, patch pockets. Divine soft yet crisp cotton in the prettiest red-ground floral. Foale and Tuffin were a young design duo in London whose “fun” and charming clothes came to embody the Carnaby street aesthetic during their 10 years in business and their work is now held in many museum collections, most notably the V&A. The line ran from 1961 to 1972.
